Cliovana is back under the direction of its founder and inventor, Dr. Robert Gordon.
Dr. Gordon is back at the helm of Cliovana and is taking the opportunity to re-commit the company in its mission to empower women to have better sex. Said Gordon, we’ve always been about enhancing women’s sexual response, but I want to get back to our roots – which is about making a positive difference in women’s lives. Dr. Gordon has enjoyed a long medical career, treating among other conditions, soft tissue injuries with acoustic wave therapy.
Inspired to invent Cliovana by his partner
He was inspired to develop the Cliovana procedure by his partner who suffered from a tumor on her spine which inhibited her nerve sensitivity, including the nerves and blood vessels of her pubic area. Dr. Gordon knew how successful acoustic wave therapy could be in encouraging neurogenesis and increased vascularity, and he wondered if it could improve life for his partner. After some experimentation, he discovered that in fact, acoustic wave therapy could be very beneficial, and spent two years perfecting the treatment. The result was the patented procedure called Cliovana.
Bringing Cliovana to more women
Under Dr. Gordon’s watchful eye, Cliovana aims to expand, improve and support the network of practitioners who are licensed to perform the procedure, bringing this life-changing opportunity to more women. Say’s Dr. Gordon, “our attitude is ‘you can be great, achieve whatever you want in life’ – and that includes having better sex than you are having now.
